3. Rewarded Advertisements
ArrowMetrics may offer optional rewarded advertisements.
For example, a user may choose to watch an advertisement in order to unlock an action such as downloading or exporting a calculation result.
Watching a rewarded advertisement is optional.
If the user chooses not to watch the advertisement, the related rewarded feature may remain unavailable unless it is otherwise included as part of a premium or paid feature.
ArrowMetrics only unlocks the associated reward when the advertising provider confirms that the reward requirements have been met.
4. Consent and European Privacy Regulations
For users located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and other regions where consent is legally required, ArrowMetrics uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage advertising consent.
When required, users may be shown a privacy message that allows them to:
- Consent to certain advertising purposes.
- Refuse consent.
- Manage their privacy choices.
Advertising behavior may vary depending on the choices made by the user.
Users can modify or withdraw their privacy choices where required through the privacy options made available within the app.
Google’s consent platform may store information regarding the user’s privacy choices in order to respect those selections.
5. Personalized and Non-Personalized Advertising
Depending on the user’s location, consent status, device settings, and applicable law, ArrowMetrics may display:
- Personalized advertisements.
- Non-personalized advertisements.
- Limited ads where required.
Personalized advertising may use information such as device identifiers and previous interactions to select ads that may be more relevant to the user.
Where consent is required, personalized advertising will only be requested when the necessary consent has been obtained.
6. Device Permissions
ArrowMetrics does not request access to device information unless it is required for a feature provided by the app or by an integrated service.
The advertising SDK may access certain device information according to the user’s device settings, operating system permissions, applicable law, and consent choices.
