This Disclaimer applies to all content provided by The Arrow Bro LLC (“The Arrow Bro,” “we” or “us”), including this website, The Arrow Bro Academy, our videos and social media, and the ArrowMetrics app. It is part of our Terms of Use.
Educational Purposes Only
Our content shares information and methods based on our own experience and research. It is for general educational purposes only and is not professional advice for your specific bow, arrows or situation.
Archery and Bowhunting Involve Risk
Archery, bowhunting, arrow building and equipment tuning involve inherent risks, including serious injury to you or others and damage to equipment. By using our content, you voluntarily assume all risks.
For your safety, always:
- follow your bow’s and components’ manufacturer specifications and warnings;
- never dry-fire a bow (release the string without an arrow);
- inspect arrows before every shot and discard any shaft that is cracked, splintered or damaged;
- handle broadheads, cutting tools and adhesives with care;
- use a bow press and other tools only if you are trained to do so; and
- have a qualified pro shop or bow technician perform any work you are not confident doing yourself.
You Are Responsible for Your Equipment
You are solely responsible for selecting, building, modifying, tuning, maintaining and using your bow, arrows and accessories. Changes to draw weight, arrow spine, arrow weight, components or tuning can affect safety and performance. Modifying equipment may also void the manufacturer’s warranty.
Hunting Laws and Ethics
Hunting regulations, including minimum draw weight, arrow weight, broadhead and kinetic energy requirements, vary by state and country. You are responsible for knowing and following all applicable laws and regulations and for hunting ethically.
No Guarantee of Results
Results depend on many factors outside our control, including your form, equipment, conditions and shot placement. We do not guarantee any outcome, including accuracy, arrow flight, penetration, recovery or hunting success.
ArrowMetrics Calculations
ArrowMetrics results are estimates based on the information you enter and general formulas. Real-world performance may differ. Do not rely on the app as the only basis for safety-related decisions.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Arrow Bro LLC and its owners, employees and agents are not liable for any injury, death, property or equipment damage, or other loss arising from your use of our content, your equipment or any modifications you make.
Brands and Products
We may mention or show products and brands made by other companies. All trademarks belong to their respective owners. Unless we say so, mentioning a product does not mean that its maker sponsors or endorses The Arrow Bro, or that we have a business relationship with them. If we ever earn a commission or receive products for free, we will disclose it.
